  2. How do I stop the pop up notifications when my friends log in?

    3. You can stop the pop up notifications by modifying the Notifications alerts in the fTalk Preferences. To open the Preferences window, sign in to fTalk, click on your full name next to your profile picture to open fTalk menu, and select Preferences. Another option is to click on the 'Hide' link that appears on the pop up notifications.

    In the Preferences dialog, go to the 'Notifications' tab and select 'None' from the options list next to 'A friend comes online'.

    Note: You can also control the notifications that pop up when a friend sends you a message in that same tab.

  3. How do I uninstall fTalk?

  4. What is the "Share Status" feature?

    5. You can easily update your status on your Facebook page from your fTalk. All you do is write your status on the fTalk bar and it will be updated automatically on Facebook.

  5. How do I stop using the animated emoticons?

    6. Sign in to fTalk and then go to your photo and click on the drop down tray to its right hand side.
    Click on 'Preferences' and uncheck 'show emoticons'.

  6. Can fTalk start automatically when I turn my computer on?

    7. Sure. Open fTalk preferences by signing in to fTalk and then go to your photo and click on the drop down tray to its right hand side.
    Click on 'Preferences' and make sure 'launch fTalk on startup' is checked.

  7. Are my chats still private when I use fTalk?

    8. Yes they are and they remain only on your Facebook account. You can review our privacy policy online.

  8. How do I invite my friends to join fTalk?

    9. All you have to do is click on the 'invite' button, add your text and send your friend the invitation.
    You can also invite a group of friends: open fTalk and click on the "Invite your friends to fTalk" button.
    In the opened window, select the friends you want to invite, and send them the invitation.
